Tester flow

Five steps for a clean first run.

Confirm access

Use the release-access page and make sure you have the V5.5.36 support notes.

Install fresh

Install on the test computer first, then enter shop info, logo, cashiers, exact receipt printer name, and backup folder.

Run a fake day

Create intake, move a job, hold and recall a ticket, use receipt copies, close the drawer, and make a backup.

Connect tablet

Open Tablet Sync Test Center, save the Hub address, test sync, and confirm the live board updates.

Report what slows you down

Send red boxes, setup trouble, printer problems, and any screen that makes counter work harder.

30-minute test run

Run this once before using the demo for real work.

This gives every tester the same baseline: setup, repair, register, tablet, backup, and support.

Setup App opens without a red box. Shop name, logo, cashier, and backup folder are set. Receipt printer name matches Windows exactly. Cash drawer test button has been tried through Shop Hub.

Repair flow Create one test customer intake. Move the job through the board statuses. Mark the job ready and find it again from records.

Register flow Add one item or service to POS. Hold a ticket and recall it. Take a cash/card/check test payment. Print or preview customer and shop receipt copies.

Tablet flow Open Tablet Start from the Hub link. Use Offline Queue, Monitor Board, and Main Shop shortcuts. Confirm a tablet sync receipt appears on the main computer.

Closeout Run a drawer count against expected cash. Save or print the closeout report. Make a backup after the test run.

Feedback Note the slowest screen. Screenshot any red box. Submit feedback before changing setup.

Known beta limits

What testers should know before judging it.

Hardware

Printer and cash drawer behavior depend on the Windows shop setup.
The local Hub/Bridge must be running for hardware actions.
Open Drawer works through Shop Hub after the receipt printer and drawer are set up.

Tablet

Hosted tablet install works best over HTTPS.
Live sync needs the shop computer Hub and the same shop Wi-Fi.
Hosted anywhere-access is not live yet; hosted tablet/live-board pages are still test mode.

Updates

Public downloads are request-only; do not use a retired evaluation package or distribute the full source folder.
Backups should be made before every beta update.
Keep unlock codes private and send screenshots for any red box.
